The Maison Kitsune brand was launched in 2002 by the French Gildas Loaëc and the Japanese Masaya Kuroki, co-founders and artistic directors, who, after a trip to Japan, combined their different passions into a single subject. In 2005, they offered their first Maison Kitsuné ready-to-wear collection, meaning fox in Japanese. The brand shows itself for a contemporary and impertinent vision of fashion, which draws inspiration from Paris and Tokyo, maintains the balance between tradition and modernity, between comfort and simplicity, between elegance and informality.
